ព្រះសហគមន៍កាតូលិកភូមិភាគភ្នំពេញ បរិច្ចាគថវិកា ២,០០០ ដុល្លារ ជូន មូលនិធិវត្តឧណ្ណាលោម ជួយសង្គ្រោះជនភៀសសឹកនៅតាមព្រំដែន

ក្នុងស្មារតីមនុស្សធម៌ និងសាមគ្គីភាពជាតិ នាថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ នេះ លោកអភិបាលអូលីវីយ៉េ អភិបាលព្រះសហគមន៍កាតូលិកកម្ពុជា ភូមិភាគភ្នំពេញ បានចូលរួមវិភាគទានសប្បុរសធម៌ជាថវិកាចំនួន ២,០០០ ដុល្លារអាមេរិក ក្នុងមូលនិធិវត្តឧណ្ណាលោមដើម្បីទិញគ្រឿងឧបភោគបរិភោគ ជួយដល់បងប្អូនជនភៀសសឹកកម្ពុជា ដែលកំពុងរងគ្រោះ និងប្រឈមមុខនឹងការលំបាកខ្លាំង នៃជម្លោះនៅតាមព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ។

ថវិកាឧបត្ថម្ភនេះ ត្រូវបានប្រគល់ជូន សម្តេចព្រះមហាអរិយវង្ស បណ្ឌិត យ៉ន សេង យៀត ព្រះសាកលវិទ្យាធិការនៃពុទ្ធិកសកលវិទ្យាល័យព្រះសីហនុរាជ និងជាព្រះអធិការវត្តឧណ្ណាលោម ដើម្បីចាត់ចែងបែងចែកទៅតាមតម្រូវការចាំបាច់ជាក់ស្តែងរបស់ជនភៀសសឹក។

សកម្មភាពនេះបានកើតឡើងបន្ទាប់ពីជំនួបពិភាក្សាអំពី «សន្តិភាព» កាលពីថ្ងៃម្សិលមិញ នៅវត្តឧណ្ណាឡោម រវាងលោកអភិបាលព្រះសហគមន៍កាតូលិក និងសម្តេចព្រះមហាអរិយវង្ស បណ្ឌិត យ៉ន សេង យៀត។

ក្នុងរយៈពេលដ៏លំបាក និងត្រូវរួបរួមសាមគ្គីក្នុងកិច្ចការមនុស្សធម៌ ជួយប្រជាជនភៀសសឹក លោកអភិបាលអូលីវីយ៉េ កន្លងមក តាមរយៈសម្ដេចព្រះព្រហ្មរតនមុនី ពិន សែម សិរីសុវណ្ណោ ចំនួន ២០០០ ដុល្លា តាមរយៈក្រសួងធម្មការ និងសាសនា ចំនួន១៥០០ ដុល្លា តាមរយៈនាយកដ្ឋានអភិវឌ្ឍក្រសួងការពារជាតិ ចំនួន ៦លានរៀល និងតាមរយៈមូលនិធិសាធារណៈផ្សេងៗទៀតផងដែរ។

ជាងនេះទៅទៀត លោកអភិបាល អូលីវីយ៉េ បានមានប្រសាសន៍ក្នុងធម្មទេសនា ដោយលើកទឹកចិត្តដល់គ្រីស្តបរិស័ទទាំងអស់ឱ្យ៖ • សាមគ្គីភាព៖ រួបរួមគ្នាជាធ្លុងមួយជាមួយបងប្អូនរួមជាតិ ដើម្បីជួយដល់ជនភៀសសឹក ជាពិសេសកុមារ ចាស់ជរា និងជនមានពិការភាព។ • អធិដ្ឋាន៖ ប្រើប្រាស់អំណាចនៃការអធិដ្ឋានសុំឱ្យសន្តិភាពកើតមានឡើងនៅថ្ងៃនេះ ដើម្បី «បិទសំឡេងអាវុធ»។

លោកអភិបាល អូលីវីយ៉េ បញ្ជាក់យ៉ាងនេះថា «យើងជាគ្រីស្តបរិស័ទ យើងមានអំណាចមួយពិសេសគឺអធិដ្ឋាន។ អធិដ្ឋានដើម្បីឱ្យសុខសន្តិភាពយាងមក មិនមែនថ្ងៃស្អែក តែគឺថ្ងៃនេះ។» យោងតាមទិន្នន័យពីក្រសួងការពារជាតិកម្ពុជា ស្ថានភាពជម្លោះនៅតាមបណ្ដោយព្រំដែនដែលបានផ្ទុះឡើងវិញតាំងពីថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែធ្នូ បានបង្កឱ្យមានផលប៉ះពាល់យ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ៖

• ជនស៊ីវិលបាត់បង់ជីវិត៖ ប្រមាណជាង ១០នាក់ និងមនុស្សជាច្រើននាក់ទៀតរងរបួស។

• ជនភៀសសឹក៖ មានចំនួនជិតកន្លះលាននាក់ កំពុងខ្វះខាតជម្រក និងស្បៀងអាហារ។

ក្នុងកាលៈទេសៈដ៏តានតឹងនេះ លោកអភិបាលនៃព្រះសហគមន៍កាតូលិកកម្ពុជា ទាំងបីភូមិភាគក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ក៏បានចេញសារអំពាវនាវរួមគ្នា សុំឱ្យមានការឈប់បាញ់ និងស្វែងរកដំណោះស្រាយសន្តិភាពជាបន្ទាន់ ដើម្បីសុវត្ថិភាពរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស្លូតត្រង់៕

The Vicariate of Phnom Penh Donates $2,000 to Wat Ounalom Fund for Border Refugee Relief

In a spirit of humanitarianism and national solidarity, Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler, Apostolic Vicar of Phnom Penh, contributed 2,000 USD to the Wat Ounalom Fund in Phnom Penh capital on December 16, 2025.

The donation is intended for purchasing food and essential supplies for Cambodian refugees currently facing severe hardships due to the conflict along the Cambodia-Thailand border.

The donation was presented to Most Venerable Samdech Preah Maha Areyavong Dr. Yon Seng Yeath, Rector of Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University and Abbot of Wat Ounalom. He will oversee the distribution of these funds to meet the actual and urgent needs of the displaced people.

This charitable act follows a formal discussion on "Peace" held yesterday at Wat Ounalom between  Bishop Olivier and Most Venerable Samdech Preah Maha Areyavong Dr. Yon Seng Yeath.

During this difficultly period, Bishop Olivier has consistently demonstrated solidarity through various humanitarian channels, including: • 2,000 USD donated to Most Venerable Samdech Preah Prohm Ratanamony Pin Sem Sirisuvanṇo, in Siem Reap province. • 1,500 USD donated to the Ministry of Cults and Religions.

• 6 Million Riel donated to the Development Department of the Ministry of National Defense. • Various other contributions to public funds. In his recent homilies, Bishop Olivier encouraged all Catholics to focus on two pillars:

• Solidarity: Uniting as one with fellow citizens to support refugees, particularly children, the elderly, and vanerable people.

• Prayer: Utilizing the power of prayer to call for immediate peace and to "silence the sound of weapons."

"As Catholics, we possess a special power: prayer. We pray for peace to come—not tomorrow, but today," Bishop Olivier stated.

According to data from the Cambodia's Ministry of National Defense, the border conflict that reignited on December 7 has had devastating consequences: • Casualties: More than 10 civilians have lost their lives, with many others injured. • Displacement: Nearly half a million people have been displaced, facing severe shortages of shelter and food.

In response to this escalating tension, the Bishops of all three Catholic Jurisdictions in Cambodia have issued a joint appeal calling for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to ensure the safety of all innocent civilians.
